925 sterling silver jewelry care guide
Our pieces are crafted in 925 sterling silver — a beautiful, durable metal that will last a lifetime with the right care. Follow this guide to keep your jewelry looking its best.
Daily wear tips
Sterling silver is resilient but benefits from mindful wear. Put your jewelry on last — after applying perfume, lotion, and hairspray — as chemicals can dull the surface over time.
Remove your pieces before swimming, showering, exercising, or doing household chores. Chlorine, saltwater, and sweat can accelerate tarnishing and weaken settings.
Cleaning your silver
For regular cleaning, use a soft lint-free cloth to gently buff your piece after each wear. This removes oils and keeps shine intact.
Use warm water with a drop of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush for detailed pieces. Pat dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Avoid toothpaste, baking soda, or abrasive cleaners — they can scratch the surface. Never use paper towels as they cause micro-scratches.
Dealing with tarnish
Tarnish is a natural reaction of silver with air and moisture — it doesn't mean your piece is low quality. It can be easily removed at home.
Line a bowl with aluminium foil, add hot water and a tablespoon of baking soda, and submerge your piece for 5–10 minutes. The tarnish transfers to the foil. Rinse well and dry completely.
Storage
Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or jewelry box to prevent scratching. Keeping pieces airtight slows down tarnishing significantly.
